Android 2.2 (Froyo): 5x faster than the Android 2.1 and improvement many features
Not long ago the Android 2.1 (eclair) launched and now will have the Android 2.2 the name Froyo. Its name was update also means there’s an update for the renewal and improvement here and there from previous versions and is quite a concern for us is a few things.
- The speed of opening applications 2-5x faster than previous
- Cloud-messaging:
This feature allows you to send data from your computer to the Messaging server and then forwarded to the phone and the data itself can vary from data location on Google Maps to writing and others.
- Javascript
Improved performance in javascript that reached 2-3x times
- Browser
in this Froyo, Google claims that the existing browser is the world’s fastest mobile browser
- Voice recognition for search
Improved system performance in a search on Google by voice commands
- In Friyo, we can move the applications which are usually placed in the internal memory to a memory card so it does not meet the “space” of internal memory on the phone who was extremely limited.
Actually there are many more but for sure, it might be more obvious if the Android 2.2 (Froyo) is actually launched.
