Asus WAVI Xtion: Similar to Kinect but is used in computer
Still remind the news that the possibility of Kinect will officially be used on your computer? Although still rumors but it certainly seems Kinect technology will be present on your computer in the near future. Primesense which is one company that is behind this Kinect technology has made working with Asus to create a similar tool that can be used on computers.
Asus WAVI Xtion is a device that consists of 3D PrimeSense camera (called Xtion) and a transmitter/receiver (called WAVI).
Through the “cooperation” both these tools, together with Microsoft Kinect later, we can control the computer through the movement.
WAVI Xtion expected to be used for various purposes ranging from social networking, multimedia and of course games are also included. The plan Asus will launch this product in mid-2011 this.
So we wait just as good as what tools like this Kinect.
