Bluetooth Low Energy Wireless: the latest bluetooth version
Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) recently announced a new Bluetooth technology so-called Bluetooth Low Energy Wireless Technology (Bluetooth v4.0).
Feature of Bluetooth v4.0 include:
- Power consumption is smaller, so saving battery or electric
- When using a longer until the annual by using only a small capacity batteries (coin-cell batteries).
- Low production costs
- A longer distance (more than 100 m)
- The speed of a better transfer (1 Mbps)
- System security better
The presence of Bluetooth v4.0 technology is certainly good news and hopefully soon be realized.
