Two company is Nippon Yusen KK and Nippon Oil Corp in Japan was deal to collaborate made a ship with solar powered as engine.

The plan is, in the ship that had the capacity until 60.000 ton that will be installed the solar panel that could produce the electricity power of 40 kilowatts and was expected to be able to carry out use saving of FUEL OIL of 6.5%.

Apart from saving, of course could reduce carbon dioxide gas until 20 ton per the year (1-2%).

The cost to made this ship also will be used to carry Toyota car around US$ 1.4 million and the estimate was finished around December this year.

Although being seen small for saving that could be carried out (around 6.5%) but please remember that the requirement for FUEL OIL for this ship would not only around 40 litre but could label thousands litre used for this ship if a road.
