GE Energy Smart LED Bulb: LED light shape bulb
LED light with the form bulb we’ve discussed, such as Panasonic Everleds and this time came from General Electric (GE). GE Energy Smart LED Bulb is an LED lamp with a shape like a light bulb (incandescent bulb) which will facilitate us to replace ordinary light bulbs with LED lights.
LED lamps from GE is a promising use for 17 years (assuming each day is used for 4 hours) and LED lamp 9 watts capacity is equal to the capacity of 40 watts of ordinary light bulb or 10 watts CFL lamp.
Period of time during the 17 years that this means the GE LED 25 times longer than ordinary light bulb and 3 times longer than CFL type lamp. Another advantage in the GE Energy Smart Bulb LED is a lighting design that makes the better (see picture below!).
It is but an obstacle because LED lamp can not be as bright as the CFL lamp then we must use more than one LED lamps to replace CFL lamp and is the problem not only we must create a new lamp holder, your money will be depleted more, let alone the price of LED lights itself is expensive.
If the calculated short-term, of replacing the lights with LED lights is not a wise thing because the cost is too high but if the long term, the LED lamps of course much more profitable, not to mention you can save on electricity costs for air conditioning because the LED lights will reduce heat indoors.
GE Energy Smart LED Bulb 9 watts capacity is planned to be sale in the range $40 – $50.
