Google Maps Street View, now there is 3D option?
We are a new knew or this is something new? We’re trying to “walk” by using Google Map Street View, there is one symbol of man with glasses on the left side that made us wonder what the hell was that? It turns out after we click, the symbol of the changing picture of existing roads into 3D (3 dimensional), but unfortunately we can not know how cool this 3D considering we do not have 3D glasses.
Also had time to check on the web Google Map and see no information about this 3D symbols, whether the meaning is still a trial version aka beta right? Please try to have the 3D glasses and tell us how well the results. Well if Google Map 3D really added, so coll features make it more interested! Maybe what we need to wait after this is to create a road map in a video format such as that conducted by Immersive, have not seen? So cool!
UPDATE:
After searching I found how to see images 3D on Google Maps Street View you must using a pair of old-fashioned red/cyan glasses and then you can enjoy with Google Street View in 3D. And just for you information about 3D features in it is Google is actually using LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) to calculate the 3D images and is not calculating stereo pair imagery. This also explains why the resolution of the 3D view isn’t very high.

Maybe Google even celebrate April Fool’s joke because On April 8, 2010, 3D mode for Street View in Google Maps is deleted On April 8, we can’t see icon for 3D feature or this feature just trial and still develop by google? Lets we see in the future.
