As far as we write, the internet speed ever achieved is equal to 40 Gbps tested by verizon. Now there is news again where the internet speed will reach up to 448 Gbps (40X higher than the above). Very fast right?

The good news again, this speed can be obtained by using fiber optic cable that is widely used today and this means that if successful, likely will not be too difficult to be enjoyed by the general public.

Results 448 Gbps is obtained through the cooperation of Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy, the National Inter-University Consortium for Telecommunications (CNIT) and Ericsson.
