Renault fluency: electric car battery can be swap
Previously we’ve discussed the Tesla Model S electric car is a electric car that battery can be swap with others battery if discharged. Whether this car with the same design or not, Renault has also announced the launch of similar car for the year 2011 with two models are is sedan type Fluence Z.E and van type of Kangoo Z.E.
The excess of both cars is the same as Tesla S is battery can be replaced with new batteries (swappable battery) just like we change the battery in the phone when discharged.
This alternative is at least enough to give tranquility to the driver when it previously did not have time to recharge their batteries being used.
According to Renault side, to swap the battery only takes three minutes. Unfortunately not explained whether the battery backup had been fused also with a battery that is used or not. Because if you separate, you can imagine if you had to lift/drag a battery that weighs around 250 kg.
