Toshiba AC100: smartbook with Android 2.1 operating system
Toshiba AC100 is smartbook soon to be launched this August and possibly in conjunction with Toshiba Libretto w100 we had just discussed. Why called Smartbook? Why not a Netbook?
Some of the things that makes this different from Toshiba AC100 is a netbook using the Android operating system 2.1 (same as phone), can be used for 8 hours with standby time of one week and just like mobile phones, smartbook can be used in less then 1 seconds after we pressed ON button.

Toshiba AC100 selling price will be in the range 40000-50000 yen (approximately US $500).
