Yumbo: the waitress robot ready to take food to your table
MK Restaurant as one of the greatest restaurant franchise in Thailand with more than 300 branches in fact already have a servant robot (named Din Sow) but unfortunately this one robot only limited reception and receiving orders (2nd image).
To make the restaurant more interesting, they cooperate with Bangkok University are developing the waitress robot that not only served as a reception area and order.
With named Yumbo, a robot that uses the Linux operating system is able to deliver food and also clean the table.
As seen in the video below, this Yumbo robot can deliver food to the table guests by bringing the food inside the “belly” of the robot, this is to prevent food falling due touched something.
