I prefer my small notebook mouse to my wireless mouse while travelling overseas.
And I use my wireless mouse only for my desktop in my office, as I like my table to be neat. However, a wireless mouse is typically quite bulky, due to the additional batteries. Which means that I need to have some spare batteries in my suitcase, just in case. They are usually more expensive because of the additional circuitry. There is also a tendency to lose the transceiver since it is detached from the mouse.
Z-Nano sounds really interesting to me, although I’m not sure how well the one-finger clicking actually works. But for small notebook users, (like the Sony Viao mini), a matching small and handy mouse is the way to go.
